MEET THE TEACHER




Cecilia walked into a studio to sign up for African drumming classes and found a yoga class in progress.

Opening that one door has led her to believe that yoga can affect powerful and positive change, one step at a time. Today, she teaches, finding ease in the pose, in life and in the family.


While teaching and apprenticing she studies. She is currently working through the 800 hour Yoga Traditions Program.

Completed certifications include the 330 hour certification with Austin  B.K.S. Iyengar Tradition of Classical Yoga studies with Peggy Kelly, Senior Iyengar Teacher and the 500 hour certification with Pacific Yoga/Theresa Elliott and Kathryn Payne,Seattle,WA.

  • Bare feet during yoga for safety or yogi toe-sox
  • Limit or reduce food intake 2 hours before class
  • Stay hydrated
  • Turn off cell/sit quietly to settle the mind
  • Late arrivals Cutoff: 15 minutes after start time
